Beginning June 1, 2022, the Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC) will accept applications for a scholarship specifically for students dedicated to senior living design. The Ageless Living Collaborative Senior Living Design Scholarship will award $10,000 to one design student. It will adhere to the criteria of The Hospitality Industry Network (NEWH) scholarships, and will be awarded in mid-November 2022 during the Gold Key Awards in New York.

CHICAGO, IL—Today, the Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC), a 501c3 organization, announced that they will invite applications for a scholarship specifically for students dedicated to senior living design.

Applications will be accepted starting June 1, 2022. To submit an application, applicants may go to newh.org and use the link https://newh.org/ageless-living-collaborative-scholarship/ to submit the required documentation as specified by the application.

David Ashen, president of Dash Design, and Phoebe Stein, president of Olive Presents, have revealed the formation of the Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC), an independent, non-sponsored group of senior living design professionals dedicated to creating optimum outcomes for seniors in senior living communities and other housing options.

“The first initiative of ALC is a webinar discussion on isolation, and how we can do better in combatting that feeling that is challenging seniors every day, and especially during this time of COVID/post-COVID,” said Stein.

David Ashen, President of dash design, Phoebe Stein, President of OLIVE Presents, and Shelia Lohmiller, Executive Director of NEWH announced the formation of a joint relationship and the development of a new Senior Living design-focused scholarship fund offered by the Ageless Living Collaborative and NEWH, said Ashen.

For the Ageless Living Collaborative (ALC), beautiful design can be found in any space, and, at any age. ALC’s mission is to continue to deliver relevant content to the senior living community and improve the lives of seniors through design.
