JESSICA SPURGIN DIRECTOR OF TALENT ACQUISITION AT LUTHERAN SENIOR SERVICES

Jessica Spurgin draws from 10+ years of recruiting experience and is currently the Director of Talent Acquisition for Lutheran Senior Services, where she leads a team of 8 high performing indirect and direct talent acquisition professionals. In 2022, her team exceeded hiring numbers across the organization by 7% over 2021, achieving the highest number of external hires in company history.

Throughout her career, Jessica has designed and implemented strong recruitment strategies, early talent leadership development programs, and established processes, policies, and procedures that allow teams to develop high-quality, performance-driven business opportunities. 

Jessica has demonstrated success in working across the business at all levels to develop trust and build effective partnerships.  She is passionate about building strategies and initiatives that focus on solving staffing industry challenges in highly competitive talent markets.

Prior to her work with LSS, Jessica spent 12 years in agriculture and has experience in corporate, family-owned, and non-profit sectors.

Jessica received her BS in Business Administration with a focus on HR from Webster University. She enjoys traveling, baking, and spending time with loved ones. She’s an overly ambitious rescue dog mom who has a heart for senior canines and has adopted multiple hospice rescues.
