Carey Edmund is the Director of Senior Living Capital Expenditure Investment for Ventas, Inc. His focus is to invest every dollar in a way that positively impacts each resident, staff, and family member, while also maximizing Ventas’ investment into the physical plant. He currently manages an annual investment of $300M across more than 800 third party managed and NNN communities. His responsibilities included the managing of large renovations, large physical plant and ESG projects, while also working with Ventas’ operators to mobilize and manage capital investments into their individual portfolios. Prior to working with Ventas, Carey worked in a similar role as Vice President of Capital Expenditure Investment for New Senior Investment Group. Carey is supported daily by his amazing wife, Lara, and their two boys, Parker and Keaton.
